Our Trainers

Gene Barnhart, his wife Vicki, and daughter Alisha have been training, breeding, showing, and campaigning dogs at their kennels in La Center, Washington for over 30 years. Between them they have earned numerous obedience titles, conformation championships, and field championships for the love and training they have given to the dogs in their care. As Alisha puts it, “It’s just a passion of the family.” They have also given back to their local community by being 4-H leaders for over 20 years and teaching obedience at community education classes. Gene Barnhart also serves as a guide at Highland Hills Ranch.
