Hard headed dogs can be a challenge, but usually make the best hunting dogs. Strong headed dogs take e-collar work, demand for respect and lots of patience’s. Remember the punishment should fit the crime, never be abusive. If the lesson is going badly stop and try again later. It is important to train from the beginning and do not skip a step. Try to set your dog up to self train. Example: If you are having a hard time heeling, put the dog on a stake out chain first and let him learn that being unruly does not work, this will take a few times.
